Chef Shawn was the best! I ended up picking up the meals instead of doing the delivery. I believe I got the teriyaki salmon bowl. It was so good, just enough of everything together. Definitely will be ordering again and trying out the delivery!

This is hands down the BEST meal prep service we have used in Alameda. My fiancé and I are very busy with work, planning a wedding and traveling, so we don’t have enough time to cook during the week. We were utilizing another meal prep service, however, their the food did not always taste fresh. We are absolutely in love with Mestizo! Every single meal I has been delicious and fresh!
This food is 10 times better than Factor meal prep! When I say it’s good, I mean it is REALLY good! 😋 Everything was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The only change I would make is to cook the broccoli a little longer so it’s softer. Other than that, absolutely amazing! 👏🏾

We absolutely loved the menu and the food. Its light to stomach but keeps you full for long. My favorite was chili garlic shrimp, my husband liked the teriyaki salmon. Absolutely loved the food!! It was the first time we tried this meal plan and it did not disappoint!! The yakisoba and teriyaki salmon were my favorite. They even have great salad with delicious sauces. I personally enjoyed my meals of the week.

Perfect portions! Very flavorful! Will definitely be ordering every week that I have to work moving forward. I saved tons of money not ordering DoorDash and Uber eats this week. And did not even feel groggy after lunch. I hope the menu changes every week so I won’t get bored.

After re-heating the meal, the taste seems to be fresh and does not lose any flavor. This plan has been easy and convenient for me so I will continue following it. The meals arrived as scheduled and my hubby and I feasted for about 6 days sharing one meal as the potions were large! Due to this being my first time ordering I ordered the adobo chicken and teriyaki salmon meals. They were tasty and well seasoned. The teriyaki salmon and the adobo chicken were our favorite. The price was right and it took the pressure off of me to cook. Loved the variety it offered!

Just tried for the first time. Got 7 plus 1 meals. Had the teriyaki salmon. Delicious, good size portions, I had a salad first, so only ate half. Seasoned well, not to salty, not a salt user. Delivery was spot on, young lady, texted me, she was on her way. Got 7 more meals to eat! Will definitely use again, after I eat these. Good first impression, would recommend to others. Everything we ordered was very very good. All of the meals are seasoned very well and I love the variety that they offer. The food is so good it almost makes it hard to believe they're under 500 calories. They have a returning customer for life.
Chef Shawn is amazing. He catered my family’s cabin retreat and everything was top tier!! He prepared 4 dinners and 4 morning breakfasts for my family of 7. He was flexible with our schedules, punctual, the food was stellar and he cleaned up everything at the end of the night!! He felt like an addition to our family by the end of our trip. I will definitely book Mestizo again in the near future.
