Chef Shawn was the best! I ended up picking up the meals instead of doing the delivery. I believe I got the teriyaki salmon bowl. It was so good, just enough of everything together. Definitely will be ordering again and trying out the delivery!

This is hands down the BEST meal prep service we have used in Alameda. My fiancé and I are very busy with work, planning a wedding and traveling, so we don’t have enough time to cook during the week. We were utilizing another meal prep service, however, their the food did not always taste fresh. We are absolutely in love with Mestizo! Every single meal I has been delicious and fresh!
This food is 10 times better than Factor meal prep! When I say it’s good, I mean it is REALLY good! 😋 Everything was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The only change I would make is to cook the broccoli a little longer so it’s softer. Other than that, absolutely amazing! 👏🏾

Absolutely loved the food!! It was the first time we tried this meal plan and it did not disappoint!! The yakisoba and teriyaki salmon were my favorite. They even have great salad with delicious sauces. I personally enjoyed my meals of the week.

Everything we ordered was very very good. All of the meals are seasoned very well and I love the variety that they offer. The food is so good it almost makes it hard to believe they're under 500 calories. They have a returning customer for life.
Chef Shawn is amazing. He catered my family’s cabin retreat and everything was top tier!! He prepared 4 dinners and 4 morning breakfasts for my family of 7. He was flexible with our schedules, punctual, the food was stellar and he cleaned up everything at the end of the night!! He felt like an addition to our family by the end of our trip.
